What to Expect

At Comfort Care Chiropractic, care is structured, intentional, and based on how your body moves and stabilizes over time — not just where symptoms show up.

Rather than rushing through visits or offering one-size-fits-all care, each step is designed to help you understand your body, restore proper motion, and build lasting stability.

Your First Visit: Spinal Movement Assessment

90 minutes

Your initial visit is a comprehensive assessment focused on identifying why your symptoms exist and how your body is compensating.

During this visit, we will:

  • Review your health history and current concerns

  • Assess spinal and joint mobility

  • Evaluate stability, control, and movement patterns

  • Identify key movement deficits contributing to symptoms

  • Provide your first chiropractic adjustment

  • Begin outlining next steps

This visit establishes the foundation for all future care recommendations.

Review of Findings & Care Planning (ROF)

60 minutes

At your second visit, we review your assessment results in detail and create a clear, individualized plan moving forward.

This visit includes:

  • A full review of your movement assessment findings

  • Explanation of how your movement patterns relate to your symptoms

  • Time to ask questions and gain clarity

  • Personalized rehab exercise recommendations

  • Chiropractic adjustment and appropriate treatment

  • Discussion of care frequency and phase-based recommendations

This session ensures you understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what the plan is.

Follow-Up Care: Reset Sessions

30 minutes

Follow-up visits focus on reinforcing progress, restoring motion, and building stability.

Reset Sessions may include:

  • Chiropractic adjustments

  • Targeted soft tissue work

  • Stretching and mobility

  • Progression of rehab exercises

Most patients begin with weekly visits, then transition to less frequent care as movement control and stability improve.

Care Phases & Progress Reviews

Care at Comfort Care Chiropractic is typically organized into 12-week phases, based on how the body adapts to improved movement, stability, and neuromuscular control.

At the end of each phase, a Re-Assessment is performed to:

  • Measure progress objectively

  • Identify remaining movement or stability deficits

  • Update rehab exercises and care recommendations

  • Ensure care remains effective and appropriate

Care frequency and duration are always adjusted based on individual progress.

Re-Assessments

60 minutes

Re-Assessments allow us to re-evaluate movement patterns, measure progress, and update your plan of care.

When care has remained consistent, Re-Assessments are performed to track progress and guide the next phase of care.

If there has been a 45-day or greater gap in care before completing a recommended phase, a more comprehensive Re-Assessment is required to re-establish baseline findings

A Thoughtful, Individualized Approach

Not every visit may look the same — and that’s intentional.

Each session is guided by a 4-pillar approach:

  1. Chiropractic adjustments

  2. Targeted soft tissue work

  3. Stretching and mobility

  4. Specific rehab exercises

The emphasis of each pillar evolves as your body improves.

The goal of care is not ongoing dependency — it’s helping you move better, feel stronger, and maintain results long-term.

Ready to Get Started?

The Spinal Movement Assessment is always the first step.If you’re unsure whether care is right for you, we’re happy to answer questions and help you decide if this approach is a good fit.

🧘‍♀️ What to Wear to Your Appointment:

Comfort is key—your visit may include movement assessments, soft tissue work, and full-spine adjustments, so I recommend wearing:

• Comfortable, stretchy clothing
Think: workout or athleisure wear—T-shirts, leggings, joggers, or gym shorts are perfect

• Avoid bulky or restrictive items
Jeans, dresses, skirts, and stiff fabrics can limit your range of motion and may make it harder to access treatment areas

• Clean socks are a good idea, especially if you’ll be lying on the table or removing shoes

No need to dress up—just come as you are, ready to move and feel better!

✅ Commit to the Process

Progress takes time. Our focus is on restoring and improving spinal motion and flexibility. Your body needs consistency, patience, and care to adapt, heal, and thrive.
